How Buying with StitchWell Works

Consult

Every great longarm starts with a Virtual Coffee Date. We’ll talk about your space, the quilts you dream of making, and whether you’re quilting for yourself or for customers. No pressure, no sales script, just honest advice from someone who quilts on these machines every day.

Build Your Package

Machine, frame size, Pro-Stitcher, and the accessories you’ll actually use (and none you won’t). I’ll put together a package that fits your room, your goals, and your budget, with personal or business financing options if you’d like them.

Delivery & Setup

Anywhere in South Carolina, I’ll deliver and install your machine myself, leveled, tuned, and stitching before I leave. Outside SC? Your machine can ship straight to you, and I’ll fly in to install it, or I’ll guide you through a self-install by video.

Training & Service

Hands-on training is included with every machine: loading, threading, tension, and all those buttons. After that, I’m your go-to for questions, maintenance, and repairs for as long as you own it. Welcome to the StitchWell family.

Your next step

Let's build your Moxie XL package

Every longarm is a little different once it's in your space. Tell me about your room and your quilting, and I'll put together a package that fits: frame size, accessories, delivery, and training.

  • A personal reply within one business day
  • Help measuring your room for the right frame
  • In-person installation and training anywhere in SC
  • Out of state? Drop ship with fly-in installation, or virtual training

Financing for every kind of quilter

Quilting for yourself: personal financing with promotional options, subject to credit approval.

Starting or running a longarm business: business equipment financing through Synergy and Red Thread.

Longarm Machine FAQs

Plan for about 10–17 feet of length and 8 feet of depth for most frame systems. That covers the frame plus room to walk around it.

Short on space? Smaller frames and sit-down models like the Moxie ST and Amara ST fit where a full frame won’t. Not sure what you’ve got? Send me your room measurements and I’ll tell you exactly what fits.

It depends on what you quilt and how often. The Moxie family is a fantastic, approachable start. The Amara gives you more throat space and room to grow, and the Infinity 28 is the flagship for serious quilters and longarm businesses. The best way to decide is a Virtual Coffee Date. I’ll ask a few questions and point you to the machine that fits, not the most expensive one.

Your machine and frame, delivery planning, installation, and hands-on training are all part of your package. You also get a real person to call when you have questions after the sale. Pro-Stitcher, extra accessories, and upgrades can be added when we build your package.

Yes! Within SC, I deliver and install in person. Anywhere else in the US, your machine can be drop shipped to your door and I’ll fly in to install and train you (travel costs quoted with your package). Prefer to set it up yourself? I’ll walk you through it and provide you with virtual training.

Absolutely, and it’s one of the best perks of buying from StitchWell. Your training is built right into your package, so there’s nothing extra to pay. We’ll cover loading a quilt on the frame, winding bobbins, threading, tension, and what every button on your screen does, until you feel confident quilting on your own. In-person buyers train with me during installation, and self-installers get one-on-one virtual sessions. And when new questions pop up down the road, you’ve got me on speed dial.

Yes! Many quilters start with free-motion and add computerized quilting once they’re comfortable. Amara machines are Pro-Stitcher ready, and the Moxie pairs with Pro-Stitcher Lite, so upgrading later is easy and there’s no need to buy everything on day one. Going for the Infinity 28 System? Good news: Pro-Stitcher comes included, so you’re computerized from the very first quilt.

Quilting for yourself? Personal financing with promotional options is available, subject to credit approval. Starting or growing a longarm business? I also offer business equipment financing through Synergy and Red Thread. Mention financing in your quote request and I’ll help you find the right fit.

Handi Quilter longarms come with a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty, plus long-term coverage on parts: 10 years on the casting and 5 years on electronics. HQ recommends a service every 2 years or 10 million stitches, whichever comes first. That’s where I come in: maintenance and repairs are handled right here in my studio (or in your studio).

Yes! Book a studio visit and take my Infinity 28 for a spin.

Typical lead time: 3-4 weeks from order to delivery, depending on HQ availability. I’ll give you a firm timeline when we finalize your package.
