Shipping Address and Corrections
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout! We ship to the address exactly as it is entered. If you notice a mistake, please contact us immediately. Once a package has been handed off to the carrier, we are unfortunately unable to make changes.
Lost or Damaged Packages
While we wish we could hand-deliver every box ourselves, once a package leaves our studio, it is in the hands of the carrier.
- If your tracking shows "Delivered" but you can't find your package, we recommend checking with neighbors or your local post office.
- If a package arrives damaged, please take a photo of the packaging and the product and contact us within 3 days so we can help you file a claim and make it right.
Pre-Orders
We are just as excited as you are about the upcoming collections from our favorite designers! Pre-ordering is the best way to ensure you get your hands on a specific print or a full fat quarter bundle before it hits the shelves and sells out.
How Pre-Orders Work
- Payment: When you place a pre-order, you are reserving your fabric. Payment is collected in full at the time of checkout to secure your items.
- Estimated Arrival: We provide an "Estimated Shipping Month" (e.g., Expected June 2026) based on the latest information from the manufacturer.
The "Ship Together" Rule
To keep shipping costs low and our studio organized, orders containing both "In-Stock" items and "Pre-Order" items will ship all together once the pre-order fabric arrives.
Pro-Tip: If you need your needles, thread, or in-stock fabric right away for another project, please place two separate orders: one for in-stock items and one for your pre-orders.
Potential Delays
While we wish we could control the global supply chain, manufacturers occasionally experience shipping delays or printing errors.
- If a collection is delayed by more than 30 days past the estimated window, we will send out an update via email.
- We promise to cut and ship your pre-order within our standard 2-3 business day window as soon as the bolts arrive at our Columbia studio!
Cancellations
Because we commit to purchasing these fabrics from the manufacturer based on your reservations, pre-orders cannot be canceled or refunded once the order is placed.
Returns + Exchanges
At StitchWell Quilt Co., our goal is simple: we want you to be perfectly delighted with every fabric, thread, and notion that arrives at your door. We believe that shopping for your next project should be just as much fun as the quilting itself!

Product Imagery + Color Accuracy
We take great pride in our photography! Our goal is to provide you with the most accurate representation of every bolt in our shop. However, because we are transitioning from a physical bolt to a digital screen, there are a few things to keep in mind:
- Monitor + Screen Variations: Every device displays color differently. Your phone, laptop, and tablet all have unique brightness, contrast, and color temperature settings. While we calibrate our monitors to ensure our photos
- Lighting Conditions: We photograph our fabrics under professional, neutral studio lighting. Please note that fabric colors can shift depending on the lighting in your own sewing room (e.g., warm incandescent bulbs vs. cool natural daylight).
- Manufacturer Mock-ups: Occasionally, for pre-orders or new releases, we may use digital "strike-offs" or mock-ups provided by the manufacturer. These are digital illustrations of the design and may have slight variations from the final printed textile.
- Natural Fibers:For fabrics like linens, hand-dyed batiks, or homespuns, slight variations in weave, dye saturation, and texture are part of the "personality" of the fabric and are not considered defects.
Our Tip for Perfect Matching: If you are trying to match a specific solid to a print and are unsure, feel free to reach out to us! We are happy to pull the bolts for you and let you know if they are a "true match" before you place your order.
